Our Story
Brandon Jensen started Paragon Homes with a desire to build the high-end homes of people’s dreams. Too often, he heard stories of people getting taken advantage of by their builder, hating the home-building process, and going way out of the original scope. To ensure a harmonious relationship and a smooth home building process, they developed the Paragon Plan. So what’s different about this compared to other builders? LOTS of front-end time, work, and energy spent by the Paragon Team to capture the full vision and scope of their clients. When expectations are properly addressed upfront, both Paragon and their clients are set up for success! This, paired with their 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, is why Paragon Homes is considered one of the premier home builders in Utah.

Brandon Jensen
General Contractor
Brandon started in construction at 17 years old. Over the last 20+ years, he has gained valuable experience that has translated into a better home building and remodeling process for his clients. Anyone who knows him, describes him as one of the most hardworking, detail-oriented, and passionate people that they know. His attention to detail, expectation for quality, and impressive people skills are just a few of the reasons why people love working with him. A few of his hobbies include working out, finding new plants for his yard, traveling, reading, fishing, and discovering new things to challenge himself.
Gordon Jensen
General Contractor
After spending decades working in IT, Gordon retired and jumped into the construction trade with his son, Brandon. Gordon brings years of technology experience. He has been an integral part in pushing Paragon to adopt and implement this technology, improving overall productivity and efficiency. Gordon’s personality, smile, and can-do attitude are a great asset to Paragon and our clients.
Seth Kaelin
Construction Manager
Seth is a Project Manager and Foreman with a background that sets him apart — blending business, sales management, and hands-on leadership into everything he does on the job. A lifelong Utah native raised in the Millcreek and Holladay area, Seth has spent his career building trust with the people around him, whether that was running sales teams, coaching athletes, or overseeing complex construction projects. He is known for his communication, transparency, and ability to make sure every client feels informed and confident from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. Seth finds his greatest motivation in seeing a project through from start to finish, watching a vision come to life from a freshly dug foundation all the way to the finishing touches of a completed home. Though young in his contracting career, his entrepreneurial background and people-first approach make him someone clients and crews alike know they can trust to get the job done right.
Carlos Huerta
Construction Manager
Carlos brings a strong background in construction operations, team leadership, and client communication to the Paragon team. Known for his reliability, organization, and calm leadership style, he plays a key role in keeping projects moving efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality throughout every phase of construction. Fluent in both Spanish and English, with working proficiency in Portuguese, Carlos is able to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and crews from a wide range of backgrounds. His hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a smooth client experience make him a valuable asset to both the Paragon team and the homeowners they serve.
Cameron Monahan
Marketing Manager
With more than 12 years of experience in marketing and brand strategy, Cameron oversees Paragon’s marketing initiatives and brand development. His focus is on creating a strong and consistent presence that reflects the company’s craftsmanship, values, and commitment to client experience. Through strategic storytelling, visual media, and relationship-driven marketing, he helps elevate Paragon’s reputation both online and within the community.

Initial Meeting
We meet with you to discuss and capture your vision. We will also assess your starting point and walk you through our process.
Establish the team
Based upon where you’re starting from, we determine your needs and put together the team (architect, engineers, designers, etc.).

Site Evaluation
We walk through the site and flag anything that could alter construction—we assess the site for constructability.
Create a Detailed Scope
Based upon the plans and your vision, we put together a detailed scope of work. This helps us ensure that we are meeting your expectations while detailing out any costs that may come up.
LET'S BUILD A HOME
Project Estimate
Based upon the final scope, we obtain hard bids for each line item. This part of the process creates a very transparent cost analysis.
Establish Project Schedule
Before construction begins, we create a schedule that will be updated throughout the construction process.
